Macphies Sponge Cake Mix is easy to make; however produces a delicious, moist, and light sponge! This mix is versatile and can be used to make Swiss rolls, moist, fatless sponges, and Victoria sponges.
Select from a wide range of toppings and fillings from Macphies like Candy Snow or Luxurious Fillings to add a delicious flavour and end to your bakes.
The 10kg bag of Sponge Mix is excellent for (*2*), cafes or restaurants because it yields a great price per KG, offering great profitability.
For a delicious Sponge Cake (per 1000g sponge mix, 500ml water):
Add the water to the Sponge Mix and whisk on slow speed for 1 minute.
Scrape down and whisk on center speed for 10-15 minutes or prime speed for 5-10 minutes, followed by 1-(*1*) minutes on slow speed.
For fatless Sponges, deposit 160g right into a 15cm spherical tin and bake at 190-200C °C for roughly 18 minutes.
